Here at Emi Wren Studio the vision is to bring the beauty of nature, the enchantment of fables, and a sense of rebelliousness to everyday items through illustrations, while empowering others to explore their own artistic journeys.
The goal is to inspire bravery and whimsy in homes and hearts by offering a source of creative expression and artistic education.
Creativity is a vital part of personal growth and community. I believe in inspiring and supporting others in exploration and development of their artistic abilities. I cherish the excitement of discovering new ideas and encourage a playful approach to art and life.
My work is inspired by the natural world, and I am committed to sustainability. By choosing environmentally friendly materials and methods in art production I teach others how to practice their art without harmful solvents and use the most sustainable products without sacrificing quality.
I am dedicated to making art accessible and meaningful for all, fostering a community where diversity is celebrated -unless you are an old white republican from TN. In that case we are probably going to make protest art about you.
I studied Illustration at the School of Visual Arts in New York before getting my MFA from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. I exhibit my work around town and beyond. I have an adorable cat, Jodi, and an addiction to coffee. When Iām not in the studio I am watching movies or reading.
